A Prayer before I sleep..

Dear God,

Thank you for sending instruments that can, will and who minister your words. Thank you for using them to give us encouragement and for letting us be fed by your words through them. Thank you for guiding them every time they speak. Thank you for blessing them with wisdom so that they can share and preach what you wanted them to spread.


Bless the Priests, Bishops, our Pope, Pastors, Rabbis, Reverends, Chaplains, Nuns, Evangelist and whoever else that I didn't mention who ministers Your words. Guide them Father and bless them with thoughts that will come from You. When they speak, let it be You who is speaking to us. Correct them Father at times when they are trying to preach using their own judgement and especially if they are starting to claim that they are Your Son. Guide them Father so they won't lead your people away from You. Use their skills and knowledge to help other people grow spiritually.


Lord, please give them enough strength to fight temptations. Help them and provide their needs. When they are sad, confuse or worried, please take it away especially when they are in service. Fill their hearts and minds with Your presence especially when they minister.


Lord, I may not know what they are going through but I know that they are only human. I also think that they have more worries than what normal people have because they had committed their selves in helping people be closer to You. Please bless them with understanding and patience.

Lastly, Father please bless us with gifts that will help us discern as for whom should we listen. We are hungry for your words Lord but let us know whom should we listen. Let people not listen to false prophets. Let people not be directed against You. Bless the people in your ministry Lord as for people like me needs them.
